June 19, 1934 - September 2, 2025

Lonnie A. Lambright, 91, of Shipshewana, (district: 59), died at 11:34 am, on Tuesday, September 2, at his daughter's house in Millersburg. He was born on June 19, 1934, in LaGrange County, to Ammon and Katie (Troyer) Lambright.

On November 4, 1954, he married Katie Yoder, she died March 9, 2010; then on July 23, 2011 he married Tressie Yoder, she survives. Surviving in addition to his second wife are two sons, Jerry (Lydia) Lambright of Middlebury, and

Jacob (Wanda) Lambright of Millersburg; four daughters, Martha (Emanuel) Yoder of Centreville, MI, Tressie (Kenny) Bontrager of Shipshewana, Wilma (Howard) Yoder of Middlebury, and Fannie (Perry, Jr.) Wingard of Millersburg;

46 grandchildren; 148 great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey and Orlie Lambright both of Topeka; two sisters, Wilma (Ora) Yoder of LaGrange, and LeAnna (Joe) Troyer of Hillsboro, WI; a sister-in-

law, Ada Lambright of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; three stillborn daughters; five great grandchildren; a brother; three sisters; three brothers-in-law. Lonnie was a farmer and a member of the Old Order

Amish Church. After farming he built barn silos for 25 years and later worked at DNA Industries until the age of 87. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 3, and all-day Thursday, September 4, at the Orlie Bontrager

residence, 10635 W. 200 S., Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Friday, September 5, at Steven Bontrager residence, 11339 CR 36 Goshen. Services will be conducted by Bishop Mark Miller and the home ministers.

Burial will be in Southeast Clinton Cemetery, Goshen.

Lonnie was a checker player and enjoyed playing and socializing at various checker meets.
